Do you only work with small businesses/start-ups?
Not at all. Whilst we love supporting small businesses, start ups and freelancers, we work with organisations of all sizes across a variety of sectors.
Can you support both one-off projects and ongoing HR needs?
Yes! Whether you need help with a specific ER issue, People Project, Confidential pieces of work or ongoing support, Cogito HR will tailor services to suit you.
Do you cover both employment law compliance and day-to-day HR support?
Absolutely. Our specialists have got you covered. From making sure your policies are legally compliant to helping with every day people management/HR advice.
How do you usually work with clients? (In person, remote, hybrid)
We’re flexible. We can work remotely, in person or a mix of both – whatever works best for your business. Our HQ is in Bristol, but we are happy to travel.
Do we need to have an existing HR function to work with you?
No – we can slot into an existing HR team or act as your full HR function if you don’t already have one.
Can you help if we don’t have any HR processes in place yet?
Yes, definitely. We can help you build everything from scratch and put simple, practical processes in place.
What happens if we only need HR support occasionally?
That is fine! We can provide ad hoc support as and when you need us – no long-term commitment required.
Can you help with recruitment and onboarding?
Yes. We can support with job descriptions, interviews, and onboarding processes to make hiring smooth and professional.
Do you provide training for managers or staff?
